About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the most of my first proper trip!
ABOUT ME
I'm a laidback, friendly guy, definitely a bit of a dreamer with his head in the clouds but wise enough to know when that can also be a bad thing. Had some tough experiences over the years which have taught me that life is for living and each day is precious. I love to make connections with new friends and engage with people and places.
PHILOSOPHY
These quotes just about sum it up for me:
âNothing of any importance can be taught. It can only be learned, and with blood and sweat.â" - Robert Anton Wilson
"I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.'" - Kurt Vonnegut
"I see a vision of a great rucksack revolution thousands or even millions of young Americans wandering around with rucksacks, going up to the mountains to pray, making children laugh and old men glad, making young girls happy and old girls happier, all of 'em Zen Lunatics who go about writing poems that happen to appear in their heads for no reason..." - Jack Kerouac
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment we have no couch but I am (if not busy) up for meeting for a drink or cup of tea (I really like tea). Brighton is my home at the moment.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm just starting to establish myself on the site, am hoping to meet lots of other CSers during my trip coming up which is going to be a bit of North-east USA (New York, New York) then down to Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia for a few months. Would love to hear from peeps living in these places!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Randomly meeting a couple of local guys in Safi, Morocco (one of the least touristy towns) Two sincere, funny people who showed us around their town, were happy to hang out and were true gentlemen to two perfect strangers. Experiences like this give you hope for the future of the human race.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have played drums since I was 11 and it is one of my greatest passions. I'd be happy to try and teach people although it isn't always that easy if there isn't much space!
