I am a semi retired Petroleum Engineer, married with three grown up working children who live abroad. I have been fortunate to be able to travel to more than 50 countries in the last 30 years. I live in Georgetown, Malaysia and will be able to host from April 2019 as I will be touring on my bicycle most of 2018.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be travelling solo from Tehran to Shiraz (via Qom, Kashan, Esfahan) on my bicycle early April. I wish to meet Iranian people and learn more about their culture.

I cycled solo from Georgetown, Malaysia to Luang Prabang, Laos. A total of 2300 km.
