I take vacations primarily based on cheap flights. I have a long list of must see places, in no particular order. So sometimes my trips make no sense, but they are cheap. Sometimes I wind up spending all day on the plane, but it saves me $1000 I call these vacations my "working vacations."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in Orange County, so it's pretty boring and I have to get out of town as much as possible. Primarily I am here for weekend trips to LA, San Diego, San Francisco, where I can be flexible about when I come. On long international trips if the timing works out of course I'm thrilled to stay with a host there but I tend to just book a hotel, however still enjoy meeting up and making new friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved hiking up Erta Ale Volcano in Ethiopia, and as huge bubbles of molten lava were exploding I was caught so close that I literally had to run for my life! I loved that place!
