About Me
Currently just about to start my last semester studying Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh.
I'm always up for an adventure, big or small - it starts in your back yard! Most recently working as a bartender, teaching English, and in outdoor education (I'm studying Philosophy so my prospects of a serious career are fairly thin). I'm always excited to get to know new people and hear your stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd rather be on the road than far from it. Happy to welcome a stranger into my home and always appreciative of a place to catch some z's!
Interests
I'm interested in meeting new people and sharing stories - seeing the world through someone else's eyes is a privilege.
I have couchsurfed before through friends' apps and even without the app - a bit of a wild hitchhike that ended up in Paris with a place overlooking the Seine! - but a rookie at heart 🤙

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once, I was late to check-in for a flight from Hong Kong to Taipei and ended up being upgraded to business class! I sat next to another young bloke who told me about this music festival happening in the South of Taiwan. After landing in Taipei, I met up with my old flatmate, had a few drinks and got to know one of his friends he'd met in the city. The next day, this stranger-come-friend and I decided to hop on the train and make our way down to this festival. We met some amazing people and had a crazy time (but the details are best kept off the internet), and then we hitchhiked all the way from the southernmost city in Taiwan to Taipei, stopping for street food in Tainan and at a carnival somewhere in between there!
That was the most I've ever set 'yes' in a week. Never let an adventure slip you by!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have worked in outdoor education for a while, so I'd be happy to teach some fun games for road-trips, or when you've got nothing but the clothes on your back and some friends to mess about with!
Teach me guitar riffs if you know any! Trying as hard as I can to brush up on my Chinese before moving back for work next year so if you're a native speaker I'll have a lot of questions! Same goes for Arabic, having grown up in the Middle East, but I haven't had the chance to practice in a while!
I'll always have my sketch books with me, so we can share drawings and stories. Always keen to collaborate on a little something!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good energy and I won't let you shy away from showing me your hidden talents, everyone has a neat trick or two! I make sure to bring a bit of encouragement and creativity wherever I go.
