Hi, my name's Joe. I am currently living in London. I was previously living in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam and subsequently Hokkaido, Japan working as a snowboard instructor. I was born in Newcastle, England and moved to HCMC in March 2014. Since graduating I've lived mostly abroad. I love meeting new people from new places!

I love music, food, the outdoors, partying, travelling. Happy to host anyone who's into any of the above! Even if you're not I'm sure we'll have something in common.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing to meet new people and also get a 'local's view' of the places I visit. Living in Saigon taught me that sticking to the backpacker areas alone teaches you very little about the city you're in. I'm keen to stay with people in the know and also host people who would otherwise only stick to tourist spots!
