Overview
About Me
I left my sales job after realizing I've never benefited anyone else, nor have I truly experienced the world. I traded the comfort of cube farms and stress of sales quota to experience the open road with my ride-or-die Bulldog Mugsy Bogues (pictured). I enjoy meeting new people, finding local haunts, hearing new stories, rollerskating, and amazing playlists.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing as I plan to begin traveling the world to experience new cultures. After spending my 20's and 30's in America working career jobs and paying off debt, I've never allowed myself to experience the world. After finding peace through meditation and yoga, I've set upon the goal of practicing in every continent while developing a better understanding of the world.
As Mark Twain once said: “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

Music, Movies, and Books
I love far too much music to consider one a favorite, however I can sing all the words to every song on the Gaslight Anthem album '59 Sound. In regards to reading I like anything which makes me think or challenges me, and mostly find myself in autobiographies... Though my favorite book since childhood is "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" Some of my favorite movies are The Dark Knight, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and American Beauty,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While visiting Kohran, Thailand I was blessed by a buddhist monk, meditated at the Big Buddha temple, and survived a monkey attack!
