About Me
Hi! I'm a happy fun loving Tree Climber who lives a life through a lens of gratitude and nonviolence. My life goals include becoming better every day learning something from every situation and from every human interaction. I'm an outgoing introvert who loves being outside and loves having a quiet space to unwind and recharge. I play board games and cribbage and love cooking and eating good food. I'm kind of a dork.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couch surfing is a way to have more meaningful interactions with people and places one visits and to get to know a place hopefully with the help of someone who lives there. Also one of my life goals is to find all the good ones and then connect them. It is easier to do this when you stay with people rather than in a hotel. Also cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I listen to a lot of Jazz and Classical, I lean towards piano, strings and horns in both genres but I do love Stan Getz, Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck and Chet Baker. With classical I love Brahms, Bach, Rachmaninoff, Haydn, and the obvious greats to name a few.
I love music in all forms and genres but I'll just make a small list of some of my favourite groups or people in no particular order; Paul Simon, Gorillaz, The Decemberists, Van Morrison, CCR, De la soul, Tribe, J5, Roots, Roots Manuva, Beastie Boys, Queen, Sound Garden, Radiohead, Beck, Arcade fire, The Hip, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stevie Wonder, Hot Chip, Ratatat, and LCD Soundsystem to name just a few.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once saved a sea turtle from drowning in a tangle of old fishing line while I was snorkeling in Hawaii.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cuba, Panama, Peru, United States
