I'm Joe and I'm from the UK. I live on the go as a digital nomad and have been travelling around the world for the past 2 years. I enjoy meeting new people, dancing and living life to the full! I'm a keen football fan, outdoor enthusiast and consider myself to be a spiritual person. As a guest I am someone who is clean, respectful and self-aware. I also really enjoy cooking and would be happy to cook us some nice healthy food. Right now, I am travelling through India to learn more about myself and to find community.

My reason for being on Couchsurfing is to connect with people and learn more about their culture and way of life. I want cultivate relationships and have unique experiences that you cannot get staying in hotels.

Interessen

My interests are quite different having picked up different things in different stages of my life with some sticking and some not. Recently my interest in the spiritual side of life has really grown and I am enjoying practices of meditation, yoga and conscious living. I remain an avid football fan and you can often find me watching the games on my laptop or in a local bar. I enjoy hiking and in nature, especially through forests and jungles!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music for me is the gateway to my soul! I love finding new music and dancing to whatever is playing. I would say my favourite genres are Indie, Funk and House!
I'm not a huge movie fan watcher but if I had to pick one I'd say Django Unchained, what a movie!!
I few favourite books that I've read are "I may be wrong", "The power of now" and "Seat of the soul". I also recently read my first fiction book for years, it was called "His Dark Materials" and it was brilliant! I would love some good book recommendations as I plan to read a lot more this year.

I did a 7-day Ayahuasca retreat in Colombia and it completely transformed my life. I was able to find some of the answers I'd been searching for, for many years. It gave me clarity to make difficult decisions in my life and sent me on this path of self-acceptance and self-realisation.

I'm able to teach all sorts of things, how to cook, dance, Spanish, meditate, yoga etc. I can also help you with some accounting if you need it aha.
I'm keen to learn more about the universe and all of its mysteries and also would love to learn more about different cultures and ways of life.
