About Me

Hi I'm Joe. I studied Film Television and Interactive Media as an undergrad and now I freelance in the industry as a production assistant (basically I get yelled at for brining people sparkling water instead of seltzer water) I travel for jobs but production assistants don't usually get their accommodations paid for so I'm trying to use couch surfing to meet cool people and save some money.

Some of the things I've worked on:

Oculus NBA VR
"Fast and the Furious 8"
Verizon
"478"
Samsung
Nike
Texas Toast
"Dog Eat Dog"
"In Search of Felini"
"The Bye Bye Man"
"The Land"
"My Blind Brother"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be able to travel and interact with people who live and love the places that I'm visiting. A huge part of traveling is getting to experience new things and places but I'm equally passionate about experience new people with different backgrounds and perspectives. Sometimes that's possible and sometimes it isn't but I'm excited to give it a shot and see where it takes me and what new friends I might make!

Music, Movies, and Books

K-Pop, R&B, any romance film, any Disney/Pixar film, I tend to read more non fiction than fiction theses days and I'm currently reading "Between the World and Me".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paid off my student loans before I graduated college, does that count?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know the easiest way to cut a watermelon. If you're feeling adventurous, I can show you how to make a Starbucks run for 80 ppl in one trip without spilling any of it in your car!

In all seriousness, I can share my experiences working in the entertainment industry if that's something that you're interested in. I've learned a crazy amount about so much stuff that I didn't even think went into making a movie when I first got started.

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Arab Emirates, United States
