I grew up in a small city in eastern Canada named Halifax, Nova Scotia. I left at age 20 to backpack and never stopped. 14 years later I'm still traveling / adventuring, trying to motorcycle, sail, cycle around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use couch surfing less for finding accomodation these days, and more for meeting people in the area that can share some useful tips and go on adventures with.

Interests

Anything adventure. I stay awake at night staring at maps in wonderlust. Motorcycles are my addiction. I've driven half way around the world on motorcycles. I've broken my back, separated my shoulder, hit a cow, drowned a bike in a river, and been taken hostage by the Mexican cartel. I've also tried to hike across Papua New Guinea, cycle down west Africa, sank a sailboat in canaries and plenty of more silly things along the way.

Inception

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried to hike across Papua New Guinea, ran out of food, got rescued by a tribe, and spent over a month living with them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good laugh, endless stories of things going wrong on my adventures and I tend to like to fix or repair small things so I can put my carpenter skills to good use.
