Overview
About Me
Originally from San Antonio, I've been slowly moving further North. First to Texas State University, and just recently Austin, TX. I'm a recently graduated graphic designer, with a particular focus on UI/UX and branding. Right now I'm working in a contract position with an agency in downtown Austin. I've only seen bits and pieces of the world, and would love to keep adding to those experiences. I love meeting new people and seeing things from someone else's perspective. I enjoy shows, coffee, good food, hiking and other outdoor activities. I can also be a bit of a nerd!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Truth be told, I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people. Since I moved to Austin (1 month ago) I have been Couchsurfing with various friends and relatives as I don't exactly want to sign a lease and settle down for a year in town. I'd love to find people kind enough to let me stay a week or two while I work and figure out where I'm heading with life. I can help pay for utilities and bills, but hopefully nothing that will break the bank as I need to save for my next move.
Interests
I enjoy hiking, swimming, working out, playing card games, talking about philosophy, morality and other big picture topics. I love music and am always looking for my next favorite artist.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to punk, metal and hip-hop but am open to all kinds of music.
I'm not much of a movie buff, but I particularly like Mr. Nobody, Interstellar, The Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and other sappy movies like those.
Most of my reading comes from online articles (scholarly or not)... unfortunately it's been a while since I've taken the time to fully read a physical book, but I'm always open to recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a tour with my friend's band as their merch guy for a few weeks. It really opened up my eyes to the couchsurfing experience and has made me fall in love with the idea of travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the card game I play, I can teach you all I know on design, and I'm learning to cook currently, but I'm willing to show you all I know so far!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a good laugh, an interesting conversation, and can help with any sort of small design job (remember, I still work full-time.) I can also help clean up around the house when I'm free, and am definitely willing to help pay my fair share for utilities and other expenses I use.
