Overview
About Me
I am a peace-loving adventurer trying to discover as much of the world as I can, and make some memories with good people along the way. There are many colorful characters who inhabit this word, and there is much to learn from each and every one. I am most interested in nature, art, architecture, history, food, music, and the culture of day-to-day life in different places. I also write poetry during my travels, and find myself most inspired by new friendships, discoveries, and accomplishments. I also recently started traveling with a ukulele, but I’d like to learn acoustic guitar and bass guitar when I settle back into a new home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode my bicycle over 800 Km in Denmark, Germany, Belgium and France, camping in the forests along the way. I fought through storms of pouring rain, blistering winds, and the frigid winter cold, and I always came out smiling on the other side. I broke my bicycle twice, nearly froze to death, ran out of food in the countryside, and lost my direction many times, but I stayed confident and finished what I started. It was my favorite adventure by far!
Teach, Learn, Share
In my last few years of traveling the United States, I have learned much about my own country and have discovered interesting pieces of history and cultural differences to share. I also have some great recommendations for parks, forests, lakes and mountains to visit because I love to hike as often as I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share many drink recipes from my work as a bartender, as well as some pasta recipes from my culinary experiments. I also love to share poetry I have written during my journeys.
