A friendly Brit currently exploring South East Asia (since March 2016). I'm a very laid back guy or so I'm told. I love to travel, meet new people and generally try to have a good time. I do enjoy a good party but I've definitely become more chilled in my latter years. I'm very new to couch surfing hence the lack of references. I'm looking forward to hosting some of you lovely people when I get back to the UK

A few friends and fellow travellers have recommended it to me. I think it sounds like a great way to meet interesting people and get their insight into where they live. It's also free!

Interests

Big music fan with a pretty eclectic taste. I also dabble at making my own. Other than that I suppose travelling, drinking, reading, football, gym, sports and watching TV and movies etc

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like all sorts from rock/indie to electro, blues, hip hop, folk, reggae, soul, house, drum and bass. Not a big lover of most chart music or commercial pop/dance. Big arctic monkeys fan!

Books: I read a lot of fiction, but I also love books about travel, biographies, philosophy, history, crime, science, politics and anything that interests me. Also anything by irvine welsh or John Niven

TV: The wire, peep show, sopranos, breaking bad, GOT, house of cards, Vikings

Movies: all sorts really. Pulp fiction is my favourite movie of all time but any Tarantino film is a safe bet

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw some cheetahs kill a gazelle while on safari in Africa. It was harrowing to watch but pretty amazing. I've had some pretty amazing times at festivals but I probably can't remember the best bits
