About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have sheep and goats, to grow fruit and vegetables and to try hard every day to be a nice person and get over my ego.

ABOUT ME

I have spent most of the last year living in the Wudang mountains studying Daoism, meditating and practising Kung Fu (not very well).
I'm currently travelling around a bit before going back to London in septmeber.
I am not exactly a social butterfly but am friendly and pretty easy to get along with.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is as yet unformulated. I spose it's something about trying not to get stressed, aspiring to unconditional love, that sort of thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading an autobiography of Lulu which I accidentally stole from a cafe today. I was surprised to discover it when I got back to my hotel. I am feeling a bit guilty, I am really not a thief and will return it. Out of respect to Lulu I will finish it first.
I am currently downloading 'to sir, with love" on my ipad, which features the aforementioned Lulu, and Sidney Poitier. I haven't watched it yet though so cannot comment. One of my most favouretest films is six degrees of separation which does not feature Sidney Poitier but does mention him a lot. I have meant to watch 'To sir, with love' for many years since first seeing six degrees of separation. So my accidental Lulu autobiography theft incident has prompted me to realise this ambition.
I also like the song to sir with love what Lulu does sing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not stealing an autobiography of Lulu, that was bad.
Living in the wudang mountains was very special.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have recently given given lessons in knitting, including knitting socks which is a skill I learned whilst living on the mountain. This sock knitting session even made use of an improvised needle made from a chopstick.
Am always happy to give knitting lessons.
