I'm a very fun, warm hearted person. I love traveling to new places, meeting new people, and just having a fun time while doing anything,really. I'm very engaged when meeting new people in new environments, and a huge geek when it comes to history. I'm funny, witty, smart, and an overall good person.

I want to provide a clean, comfortable, place for travelers to stay while they are in Chicago. As someone who has traveled a lot, I know that there's nothing like a home to stay in to get away from the hostel life. Also, I would hope that my guests in the future would offer the same hospitality to me if I were in your city or part of the world also.

I believe in giving. I want to give you a good experience while you are here.

兴趣

Well, I wouldn't be on this website if I didn't already love traveling, so that's a given. Besides that, I enjoy keeping active and being outside, whether that be running, playing sports, or trying something new. I also love to learn. I am working towards completing my first 2 undergraduate majors here in university in Omaha. I love architecture and the design aspects that go along with it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2011, I traveled to China with a group of classmates, and I think my favorite moments that I gained from the trip was climbing the 300+ stairs to stand on top of the Great Wall of China. Although it was a long way too the top, it made it so much more gratifying when I got there. Besides that, i think my other favorite moment from that trip was in the Beijing train station. Our group was catching an overnight train from Beijing to Shanghai and sitting next to us was this adorable Chinese family with a 5 year old daughter. Even though my friend and i didnt speak the same language as them, we ended up talking to the little girl and her mother for about an hour through a English to Chinese translation book. It was such a little thing, but it's something that I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

Teach: I used to work in finance, so I can teach you the basics of investing. Additionally, I love reading, writing, and I would love to share what I've learned from my studies as well as my travels abroad. Finally, I work in the airline industry, so I can help you learn some tricks to purchasing the cheapest flight for your travels!

Learn: I would love to learn more Spanish and Italian. I don't speak perfectly, but if you are from those countries that do speak, I would like to practice speaking with you. However, I love learning languages and customs from around the world. Please be open and teach us what the area of the world that you live in is like!

What I can give to you!
-Clean living conditions
-A set of keys so you can come and go as you like
-A bed, with clean pillows, sheets, and blankets
-Any food in the refrigerator is yours, and I will show you where the nearest supermarket is so you can buy food for yourself
-A clean kitchen for you to cook in
-Any tips or advice on what are the best things Chicago has to offer
-I will help you with any directions on Chicago's CTA (Chicago Transit Authority - our public transportation)
- Depending on my work flexibility, I'll show you around! You're welcome to come out with my friends and I to any bars/restaurants/events/clubs/etc. that we go to also!
-Free WIFI
-An HDMI cord so you can watch your movies and TV shows on the actual TV! (Fancy, I know ;) )

What I expect from you:
-Please pick up after yourself. My roommate and I are very clean people, so we expect our guests to be clean also. This includes not throwing your belongings all over the apartment, doing your dishes, and making sure the bathroom is clean if you dirty it
-Do not bring anyone back to the apartment
-No smoking in the apartment
-No taking anything that isn't yours - this means any jewelry, figurines, electronics, clothing, or anything else that was in the apartment before you came
- Come with a good attitude! My roommate and I are always looking for opportunities to go out and do things and meet people. You do the same!
- Be open about yourself - we both like to share our stories, and we want to hear yours also. Tell us about your city, your country, your life at home, your job, the craziest thing you've done, your opinion on the world, your likes/dislikes. That way, I can help create a better experience for you in Chicago while you are here!
-Be open to other's stories as well - no one is the same, and I know that some areas of the world are very different from here. Different is good. I would like to talk about difference of opinion compared to my own, but if you cannot be respectful of others and their right to speak their mind, then we will not be a good place for you to stay.
