About Me
CURRENT MISSION
rebuilding empires of consumption as empires of fulfillment
ABOUT ME
A life warmhearted and thoughtful. Treating myself and those around me well. Frequent moments of beauty, desire, risk, triumph, confusion, wonder, sunshine, and peace. A dinner table oft besieged by friends. A response to the world situation that feels authentic but not exhausting. A regular, soft, and unpretentious artistry. What are YOU into?
**
In London for at least a few days. I'd love to make dinner on your houseboat, make dramatic readings from your bookshelf, draw sidewalk chalk arrows together, or go dancing.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that we can all make use of each other much more and much better than we do. We can give each other better attention, and cooperate with projects more; we can love each other more; we can invite each other to go swimming and do the things we each love. I believe there are a million unsaid invitations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I wrote code and led software dev at CouchSurfing for a while. I was part of the New Zealand collective. CouchSurfing and Casey and Leo and Jim and were an important part of my life and remain good friends.
You can see [[User:JoeEdelman]] for more information about my projects at CS.
