Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet cool people, ride my bike without breaking it, and travel around before heading to grad school
ABOUT ME
I've lived in DC for 3 years, but have lived and traveled all over the U.S. and Latin America. My roommates and I have hosted many travelers from all over the world, and I love hosting! I used to be a member of Servas, another "couchsurfer" type organization that dates back to the 1960s. In my free time, I like to run, eat lots of food, hang out with friends, garden, ride bikes, play board games, watch movies.
PHILOSOPHY
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was a Servas host for a few years with my roommates (another thing similar to couch surfing), and we hosted lots of people from all over the world. It was great, and now I thought I'd join couch surfing because it seems like more people use it.
