About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet the most interesting people in the world
ABOUT ME
Hello ladies and gentlemen, couches and futons. I'm Joe, and I love living fully. I try to get better at life every day by challenging myself.
I teach music, and I play piano, bass trombone, and melodica. Find my page on Facebook: Melodica Men or Instagram: melodicamen.
I've become addicted to meeting new and interesting people. If you are compassionate, open-minded, positive, and have some good stories, then I'd love to meet you!
PHILOSOPHY
It's my responsibility to become the best possible version of myself. Live consciously. Never be boring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to host people in my apartment in Baltimore. It's almost like a substitute for actually traveling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosting since summer 2014, and I've meet so many great people! Very humanity-affirming.
Interests
I'm super nerdy about classical music, but I also love funk, rock, jazz, etc.
I'm curious about anything that someone else is excited about. Really though, if you've got passion, I've got ears.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went backpacking in Europe in 2014, and it was life-changing. My friend and I spent a total of 3 weeks in Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Florence, and Rome. It was a very humanity-affirming experience that made me want to continue meeting new and interesting people from around the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach anything related to music. Think of a song and I'll show you how to play it on piano.
I would love to learn how to cook new and delicious things.
