Overview
About Me
I love to play soccer (football), trail run, and relax with my friends and family. Cultural exploration is important to me and I have tried to meet people from all over the world to understand them better. I lived in Brazil for about three years and have tried to get out as much as possible.
I grew up and live in the beautiful state of Utah, but recently spent about a year and a half in scenic Guilin, Guangxi, China teaching English and Economics. I enjoyed living in a beautiful city teaching awesome kids. After that, I spent a few months traveling through Asia, with a two month teaching stint in Nablus, Palestine in the middle of my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was wandering around Durango, Colorado with two friends looking for a place to crash for the night. We ran into a young couple and asked them if there was a park nearby where we could sleep and they immediately offered us their house. We accepted and met up with them later that night. They were extremely nice to us and made us breakfast the next morning. They then explained the concept of couchsurfing, and I have been interested ever since.

Driving through Jordan was one of the more beautiful things I've done. I got to enjoy amazing scenery, meet wonderful hitchhikers, and wander off the beaten path.
