ABOUT ME

Me and my friend Chris Wilson are full time musicians and are on a mission to inspire people and play our music for anyone who will give us a few minutes of their time. After surfing on tour with over 100 different people in 42 different states in less than a year, we want to keep it going and make lifelong friends and memories. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Trust someone until they give you a reason not to. Don't be afraid to try something new. There is no such thing as failure, just learning and growing from your past.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to couchsurfing in early 2012 and since then, went on a few music tours around the country for 8 months and couchsurfed the whole way with two good friends (Chris and Ingrid). We used her profile and I've only been able to experience surfing, but hope to return the favor and host a bunch in the future. She's sitting this tour out (but will be back in the future) so we needed to create a few new profiles...Looking forward to officially linking up with so many new friends..This is the best community ever!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So many amazing stories..where do I begin. I was on tour with https://www.facebook.com/chriswilsonandplanetearth where you can see a bunch of pics with us and couchsurfers. We made real lifelong friends with some, and had some live in the moment experiences as well, but 99% of those and all in-between were lifelong memories. For sure the toughest thing was being away from my wife:(

From moonlit midnight hikes, to city adventures to just chillin by a fireplace with a glass of scotch or wine, or around a table sharing our pasts and getting to know each other, it was amazing. Can't wait to do it all again on the next tour (Aug-Nov 2013).

兴趣

Playing music for a living and sharing those moments with others. I play sax, guitar, flute, clarinet, sing and can hack it up the the piano and bass..haha
I love playing poker, hockey, any athletic activity and adventure.
Nature, health, good scotch, freshly cut grass, people who are passionate, different cultures, smoothies, animals, sunsets, salt water, fresh water, lemons.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2006 I decided it would be a good idea to buy an RV, book and promote a solo music tour around the country and drive myself around and play music for people. It was something I always wanted to do and I loved it..i moved out to San Diego from Rhode Island after the tour (and after I sold the RV) and try to tour as much as possible. Even though having an RV was rad, couchsurfing trumps it for sure!
