About Me
For some reason the website is not allowing me to upload a picture, I will try and get it to work but my skills with computers is limited.
CURRENT MISSION
I have been travelling for the past year exploring different parts of the world learning its culture, language and meeting great people.
ABOUT ME
I attended university in Nova Scotia, receiving degrees in Environmental Studies and Biology We have been living together for the past 2 years+. We love nature and especially being outdoors, which is why we want to be farmers. The past 6 months we have been living our dream by volunteering on a number of farms in the UK. Our hope is to one day start our own farm by pulling together everything that we will learn on our journeys.
PHILOSOPHY
Do your best, share what you can and take risks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently been travelling for just over a year now, I have only been a surfer so far, h aging stayed in a number of different countries and meeting a lot of very interesting people. The thing I love most about couchsurfing is that you get to stay with people that actually live in that area and are not just travelling through. They know a little more about the culture and know about the hidden away places that you would not find in your own.
Once I return to Canada in May and find a place of my own i am really looking forward to have people stay with me. I love the idea of couchsurfing and redolent it to everyone I meet and tell them about the great experiences I have had.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfers in a number of different cities in Europe. I love staying with locals and getting to know the city from their perspective.
Interests
I have worked in construction and have grown up building things. Since a young age, I have worked on a number of projects with his father, who is a carpenter, mostly building and renovating houses. I am very passionate bout woodworking and making furniture.
I love to cook and to learn the different cuisines as I travel, and taste the different local dishes.
I really enjoy soccer and tennis, I used to play when I was younger but have not done so in a few years. Hoping to pick up the hobbies again a when I return back to Canada in May.
