ABOUT ME

I'm currently 22, just graduated from college in Alaska and just moved to Portland Oregon. I've never been to Oregon and don't have any contacts here, just moved down with my band to play for more people. I play in a female-fronted rock band called 'Divides' and currently we're saving up money to hopefully start touring. I enjoy humor extensively and try to bring it to as many people as possible. I've been told I'm outgoing and personable, for what that's worth. I honestly enjoy talking with strangers and hope this will be a great tool for that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just officially joined this site, but I have been hosting friends for years now and have done my fair share of couchsurfing between different places. I'm glad to be joining a network to make that easier and to meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing in highschool I guess, whenever I didn't want to be at home I would stay at friends houses for long periods of time. I got used to sleeping on couches or floors, which was a good thing to learn before college. In college I moved around a lot, and certain times had gaps in between living situations, so I have unofficially done quite a bit of couchsurfing in those years. Whenever I do have a steady roof over my head, I love hosting people, I always have. I've had friends or friends of friends stay with me for weeks at a time, or just when they were passing through for a night.

兴趣

I'm quite adventurous, love hiking and general exploration. I love writing and though I'm not an artist I love to draw or sketch as often as possible. I love conversing, especially over wine, and absolutely love to cook. If my profile doesn't say this enough, I love everything about music; listening, discovering, sharing playing, creating, performing, etc. Also despite the cliche, I honestly enjoy reading poetry and long walks on the beach.
