ABOUT ME

Born Oregonian, just moved to California for grad school and it is reminiscent of Portland, gotta say I miss P-Town though. I snowboard and love it. Been trying to get up to Tahoe as much as a can, so far it has only been once haha. Time is limited for such travels as a graduate student :) About that, I work in a Biophysics lab where I study a special type of RNA called a ribozyme using single molecule techniques (sounds more complicated than it is).I used to party and drink a ton (being a college student), but that has definitely worn on me and I am not drinking too much anymore especially with all of my research and class obligations. I am definitely down to have a drink with whoever and show them around the bar scene on the weekend, plenty of that going on around where I live. I also know some great places to visit for food in Santa Cruz and I would be more than happy to show someone around my campus and the areas of the city I know. Of course I live close to the beach, so if you are trying to come here in the summer, I am a 20 minute walk from the beach.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life like there is no tomorrow, I believe we all have one life and should take advantages of opportunities as they come.
