About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Don't look back at my 20's and ever think "wasted youth".
ABOUT ME
PHILOSOPHY
It has been a long time coming for me to be able to summarize what I think in a single word. As of now, that work is "kindness".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hmm... a spontaneous side trip to see the official Led Zeppelin cover band at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado with some great people from CS. I think I'm just supposed to share one but I have a bunch more experiences like that.
Interests
I love books and music and since I drive around the country for so many hours I find myself listening to both consistently. Seriously one of my most favorite things to do.
I like to stay fit just because it makes sense to. I also like beer because it makes sense to.
My dream career would be a fiction novelist. (Someday?)
Uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I have nothing against olives.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy nearly all music. Although I'm told I'm picky. Pop music often makes me want to claw at my own face a little. Sorry for that visual.
Movies: I love big, dynamic, and emotional movies but also comedy and an occasional action. Another Earth, Life of Pi, Into The Wild, Synecdoche New York, I Origins, etc. I have always liked the X Files more than I should admit.
Books: Siddhartha, Walden, Life of Pi, Moby Dick, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Nietzsche, Dostoevsky, Viktor Frankl, etc. I listen to a lot of books while driving.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked to a really high point on Catalina Island off the coast of CA and could see the ocean on both sides. It was beautiful. The only way to distinguish the ocean from the sky was a boat approaching the harbor. The waves it caused on the horizon looked like they were disappearing into the sky.
