About Me

Right now exchange student in Duluth, Minnesota, until June 22, 2015.
Good listener, love stories.
Never says no to a cup of coffee. (Tea also works, hot chocolate for cold and snowy days)
Collector of knowledge and facts.
Want to see the world and meet it's occupants and hear their stories.
Have been to 6.7 % how all the countries in the world, want to make that 100%.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When it comes down to it, all hotels and hostels are all quite the same, some fancier then others. Unlike homes which are all unique with there own story to tell. Through Couchsurfing and the people you meet, you're able to get another perspective of your destination than the one you get from tourist attractions and brochures.

Interests

I suppose travelling have to be on this list, I love it. New places, new people, new stories. There's few things that can beat that.

Have been active in the Scout Movement for as long as I can remember. From there I've got an interest for nature, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, camping. It has also been part in opening my eyes to the world.

Science and technology, love to know how things work and are connected.

Food, do I have to say more? Everybody appreciate a good meal, may it be something you never tried before or that dish you always get at your grandparents.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked across Slovenia. It was the summer of 2014, my friend and I was dropped of in the city of Kranj with nothing more than our backpacks, a map, a mission, some money and a handful of simple rules. We had to walk at least 160 km in 10 days and reach the village of Kostanjevica na Krki. We weren't allowed to buy cooked food or pay for housing. We had to ask locals if with could put up our tent in their backyards and use their toilets. Without question the most amazing days in my life.
