Hello, my name is Joel and I currently live Brooklyn, NY. I got introduced to CS when my friend, who I met on this app, and I traveled throughout the US and used CS. We had such a unique and great experience getting to know locals from each city and community and exploring the local culture. Hopefully, I can return the favor for folks coming to visit NYC.

I drove form New York to Chicago by myself to pick up a road trip buddy that I met through this app. We then drove to New Mexico together to attend the hot air balloon festival. It was by far my most amazing trip.

I’m in the process of learning to speak Vietnamese. I can teach you English, Yiddish, German, or Hebrew.

I can teach you how to make amazing dumplings. I can also teach you a dying language, if you teach me some of yours. And of course, if you host me, I’ll help you clean and take you for dinner because I’m a real ‘mensch’ (yes look it up ;).
