Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to share traveling with other people, and I think it's a great idea to connect people and change what the concept of traveling involves: hotel after hotel. More people become closer, and everyone wins.

Definitely tough to sum up these categories...

Music: R&B, Teddy Pendergrass, Stevie Wonder, Clarence Carter, Levert, etc.

Movies: Mostly comedy (Ricky Gervais, Will Ferrell) but I do enjoy a more serious film as well.

Books: Science fiction (Wells), older authors (Donne, Shelley, Douglass), playwrights (Shakespeare, etc.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the great cause of Pompeii's destruction: Mt. Vesuvius. Seeing its crater closer with a barrel stopper like ash is haunting when you realize what lies below is capable of spitting out balls of fiery lava.
