About Me

Hello fellow adventurers,

An outdoor enthusiast at heart. I thrive on an eclectic mix of sports including crossfit, jogging, freeletics, bouldering, and hiking. My fondness for the outdoors also extends to camping under a sky full of stars.

Professionally, I serve as a social worker, contributing to social innovation. This role allows me to embrace a systems view of life, understanding the intricate interconnections of all beings. I find immense fulfillment in working with teenagers and kids, guiding them to discover and nurture their potential.

I am interested in spirituality and meditation, yoga and breathwork, trying to live mindfully. Shamanism and philosophy have deeply resonated with me over the years, influencing my worldview and shaping my life's journey.

As an athletic individual, I balance my active lifestyle with creative pursuits. I've been playing the guitar for 20 years, crafting acoustic melodies that echo my heart's rhythm. In quieter moments, you might find me engrossed in a good book, with topics ranging from geopolitics to psychology and self-development, shaping my holistic worldview. Concepts like Spiral Dynamics guide me on my lifelong learning journey.

Traveling, both solo and in shared adventures, is a passion. Despite some near-death experiences (a nod to you, surfing), I'm always ready for trying out different sports, exploring new cities, and immersing myself in various cultures. I hold a special appreciation for indigenous cultures, whose wisdom and unique perspectives enrich my understanding of the world.

Off the adventure trail, I can be found savoring good wine and food at local pubs or indulging in cinematic explorations at the theater. I value both lively evenings out and quiet nights in, often spent practicing wellness activities like swimming, taking ice baths, or following the Wim Hof method.

Life, to me, is about living in the moment, embracing new experiences, and building meaningful connections. I believe that every encounter brings its own magic, be it deep conversations, shared laughter, or memorable adventures. I'm open to the unique vibe and energy each new friend brings.

If you appreciate deep talks, humor, exploration, and the occasional adrenaline rush, I'd love to meet you. After all, life is an adventure, and it's all the more exciting when shared with interesting companions!

Looking forward to meeting you on this journey called life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to connect to people around the world and think the most authentic experiences are with locals.
I travel a lot and want to share my experiences and adventures with other open minded people and maybe create new unforgetable times.

While I've been a member of Couchsurfing since 2016, I haven't had the opportunity to fully utilize this wonderful platform until now.
Now, I find myself in a position where I can finally invest the time and energy to explore the world, meet new people, and share experiences through Couchsurfing. I'm excited about the prospect of getting to know the Couchsurfing community better and looking forward to my first experiences with it.
