About Me

I grew up watching Rick Steve's and Globe Trekker on PBS which open my window to the world around me. History was my favorite subject in school. I particularly liked Roman history which is why Italy was my first major trip. I grew up in a small town and still live in the same town. I enjoy traveling and meeting people from around the world and staying in touch with my international friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like learning about other people and their travels. As a fellow traveler i like to find out about new places and experiences that i probably would never have thought of. couchsurfing sounds like a great way to find like minded individuals who have a passion for travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took off for a month to south america, I don't think it's amazing but according to many coworkers and friends at home they think it's amazing for american standards. I think it's because we don't take much vacation here in america.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are all teachers and students of life.
The time is now, the place is here.
Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift, That's why it's called the Present.
You came into this world with nothing, when you leave this world you leave with nothing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share lessons learned from my trips and show people my little town.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, England, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand
