I'm 57 and retired early from America to live in Northern Thailand. I spend my days on Facebook and Youtube. I watch news on Cable T.V. and go out nightly to the local night market to listen to live music. I'm trying to meet people here in Chiang Mai and get involved in my community. I'm vegan, but occasionally will have egg or dairy. I like to walk a lot and explore my area that I live in. My previous job was working in private security in Portland, Oregon as well as working for Portland Community College, handling their surplus property. I enjoy music and the arts. I was married 23 years to a woman from Taiwan, but I divorced 4 years ago. We have a 21 year old son who attends the US Air Force Academy. He wants to be a pilot. Oh, one more thing: I'm Buddhist.

Forest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Dispicable Me, Titanic are some of my favorite movies. I enjoyed reading Shogun when I was in High School; it changed my life. I like the Beattles, Pink Floyd, 1970 classics. Anything played by guitar is nice.

I travelled around the world after I graduated from High School over a 6 month period and had a great time. Spent time in Europe, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, India, Nepal, Burma, Thailand, Singapore, and other places. My top destination ever was Nepal, where I hiked the Annapurna Circuit.
