ABOUT ME

A couple from northern Finland, been together for a long time and enjoy travelling. We show a deep interest in culture but we're also keen to experience the everyday life of our travelling destinations. Seeing and experiencing new things is what we're about!

Joel is an English language teacher and Liisa works in early childhood education.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On our visit to UK we couchsurfed in York and it was a great experience.
We've hosted twice so far, and both experiences were great! Meeting new people and showing them around in our home city is really a lot of fun!

Currently we are travelling and wish to meet new people via couchsurfing!

We prefer to see new locations through the eyes of locals and not so much like tourists.

兴趣

Tv-series such as Brooklyn 9-9, Parks and recreation, Handmaid's Tale, Vikings, New Sherlock... and all kinds of movies and of course hanging out with friends.

Joel is passionate about football but the same cannot be said about Liisa :-) (We also like to watch national ice hockey games yay!)

We enjoy the outdoors and hiking and can show you around in Oulu!

We enjoy live music shows and music in other forms too!

We're especially into indie/rock music, but other types of music also.

Love to read, especially crime novels for example Jo Nesbo :)

Scuba-diving, travelling, snorkeling on a reef. Hiking in amazing places! Studying abroad.
