ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Joel

After working fulltime and saving for a long time I travelled the world for 2 years and now I've moved to Melbourne to continue my bachelor of IT as an on-campus student.

My time travelling was the most amazing time of my life. I met so many people and saw so many places and completely changed my views on life from being very career oriented to now seeing that there's a lot more then just a job in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've only couchsurfed only once. I would like to get more involved in couchsurfing events and meeting people and possibly hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only once through couchsurfing.org which was awesome. I stayed in downtown LA on my first ever visit to the USA. The host was an amazingly nice person and it was a really cool area.

I've also stayed at friends houses and friends of friends houses around the place.

Interests

I love travel, snowboarding, Guitar, video games.

I've been interested in computers my whole life and I'm currently doing an IT degree by distance.

Music, I like some electro, rock, metal, hip hop and in general alternative music.

Some of my favorite bands are The Hilltop hoods, The Herd, Metallica, Trivium, Pantera, The Living End, Lyrics Born, The Prodigy.
