Overview
About Me
I am an Artist and Associate Professor, working interdisciplinary with interactive installations, (projective) augmented reality/video projection mapping, (head mounted) virtual/augmented/mixed reality, 360 video and audio/visual performance. The results are immersive experiences with inter-modal/synesthetic analogies/qualities. I also accept assignments in artistic, curatorial and technical direction. My ambition is to always give auditory and visual qualities equal importance, as well as continue developing the subject of cutting edge audio/visual production, by combining theory and practice. To be able to pursue this, the dynamic synergy of being both an artist and a teacher is indispensable to me.
I am working as teacher/course director at Berghs School of Communication, teacher at Beckmans College of Design, teacher at Forsbergs School for Graphic Design, and associate professor/senior lecturer and course director at the Audio/Visual Production program at Högskolan Dalarna University. I also teach at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and KMH Royal College of Music in Stockholm, as well as Konstfack University College of Arts Craft and Design, and Hyper Island, and around the world, for example University of California (USA), Taipei National University of the Arts (Taiwan), and HDPK Hochschule Der Populären Künste (Germany).
I am educated at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. I studied the Teacher Program on Art, Design and Visual Culture and did my diploma work on audio/visual live performance & VJ-ing. I also studied the course Theories, Methods and Practices at Konstfack´s Interdisciplinary Department, and The Fourth Dimension: Video, Space and The Broken Screen, at School of Visual Arts, New York City.
I am based in Stockholm and Berlin, but travel frequently.
“Truly one of Sweden’s most innovated techno producers, underground and contemporary with the highest aesthetics one can find through his art. Truly an inspiration and original as it should be.” – Allison Chanic, TCSP RCRDS
