About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make a difference by being the best I can be
ABOUT ME
I'm gentle yet outgoing, I try to remain relaxed and calm while also being extremely active. I am most happy when I am by the sea or under a tree. I also have a habit of trying to make up cheesy rhymes.
I play bass guitar
I have just finished a PhD in renewable energy for rural India which is a collaborative project between Indian and British Universities. I work in energy saving and renewables.
I have a habit of collecting unwanted pets. I currently own a cat and a snake.
I also attended a United World College (UWC) in Hong Kong, some time ago now, if you haven't heard of them check it out.
PHILOSOPHY
Ying Yang symbol is very powerful and holds a lot of truth
Try to focus on things that make you happy it's a state of mind that we often have control over.

Music, Movies, and Books
It depends on my mood. Sometimes I need basic visual/audible entertainment like a good action film or a really easy to listen to song. Other times I need something more stimulating that can actually make think and feel something.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Hong Kong when I was 16-18 at Li Po Chun United World College (UWC) of Hong Kong, their objective is to promote peace through international understanding. They achieve this by getting people from all over the world who are young enough to be impressionable but old enough to understand themselves to live learn and work together. That was fun.
Riding my motorbike from the UK to Romania for my friends wedding.
Completing a mechanical engineering degree. It was really hard.
Been involved in setting up the first official UK Burning Man festival
In the process of creating a renewable energy outreach program for the UWC in the UK
Scraping through a PhD
...trying to find time to fit in any other projects that come my way
Teach, Learn, Share
I often find myself teaching maths to people, they like my simple approach to it.
Fixing and making things, this includes car and motorbike maintenance (love getting covered engine filth)
Music learning mainly, not really at the standard to teach, I am happy to share what I know, I really enjoy jamming with people.
