ABOUT ME

Getting ready to leave to see a fraction of the world during three months; something we have been looking forward to for the past two years, while Ivano completed his teacher training (he works as a high-school teacher, subjects are History and Italian).

We are both friendly and uncomplicated (well, we think so anyway, but you will have to judge for yourself), don't snore, stink, or sleepwalk, and are free of any kind of paranoia or phobia. Interested in meeting nice people from all over the world and seeing places through the eyes of someone who is more local than we will be.

We both like sports (Joelle enjoys volleyball, diving, snowboarding, and inline skating, while Ivano prefers football... otherwise known as soccer), and while Joelle is interested in photography, reading good books, and relaxing and dreaming, Ivano loves talking politics and learning about the world in general. We both appreciate good food from all parts of the world, and are hoping to see, experience, and try new things during our journey, which will take us mainly to Asian countries.

Unfortunately we only just found out about the couchsurfing project, and -having moved out of our apartment already- are unable to currently accommodate guests. Upon return (around January 2011), hoping to have couchsurfed some ourselves, we would love to host couchsurfers at our apartment in Baden, a small, idyllic town close to Zurich.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we knew CS just some weeks ago, we signed up only in the last days. And as we have to "evacuate" our apartment, it is impossible to accomodate someone "chez nous" till august. After our trip (so starting from january 2011) we would really like to recive some of you in Baden, a small but idyllic town next to Zurich.
