I am a student at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, which recently played host to Barack Obamas G20 speech. I love discovering new places and delving into the culture of other countries and try to get overseas as much as possible! I look froward to getting outside as much as possible and skiing is my true passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After spending some time studying overseas I realised the best way to experience a place is definitely by talking to a local and couchsurfing offers this. Hostels give you brochures and discounts but a true local knows the best spots to eat and experience the true secrets of the culture! It is also a great way to meet new people and create a global network of like-minded travelers.

I will be studying education in the new yea so I guess that counts. I love learning new languages and am currently mildly proficient in French and an absolute beginner with Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do consider myself good company, I'm very easy going and am happy to take direction from a host. I am very clean and I understand that different people have different expectations of guests in their house and I am happy to accommodate. All I ask of hosts is the direction to the best food in town!
