Hello! My name is Joel Öman, I´m 33 years old and living in Piteå. At the moment I work as a school assistant. Some of my earlier works include storage work as forklift driver, emergency callagent and supportagent at a bank. My personal interests is mostly sports, especially soccer(where I work as coach today) and icehockey, but also to hang out with friends, workout, typical stuffs. Lately I have found a big interest for other cultures, and now I want to explore the world as much as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m on Couchsurfing to find people with the same open mind as myself. I´d rather hang out with good minded people and make friends throughout the world then to travel alone and do everyting by myself. Since I´m interested in local cultures I see this as a good way to explore cities through locals rather then the typical tourist traps :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music, my favorite is based in which mood I´m at. All time favorite movie is definately Lord of the Rings. I don´t have any favorite books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to malaga for a week all by my own, staying at hostel for first time, and it turned out to be the best vacation ever, making a couple of new friends spread out over Europe :)

Be a good and helpful person and give a lot of yourself, and you will receive much more back. Can teach you a little bit of swedish cooking and history :)
