ABOUT ME

I've lived in Oxford all my life and travel when I save up enough money. My next, imminent trip however will take me to San Francisco and Hawaii before I settle down in Australia.

I don't really have any worries. I just want to have a simple, good time wherever I go and don't turn anything down.

I turn largely to sarcasm for my sense of humour.

I'm definitely available to meet up with and am also able to host on occasion.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my most recent travels I have surfed a good deal and have had good fun with all types of people.

I also host when I can.

Interessen

I love music and am currently trying to improve my repertoire of folk songs.

Also trying to improve my surfing ability.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music... 50,000,000 fans can't be wrong! The King, of course.Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Incredible String Band, Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jefferson Airplane, Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Martin Carthy, Buffalo Springfield, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Cream, The Who, The Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkel, Mountain, Ultimate Spinach, The Byrds, Janis Joplin, 13th Floor Elevators...60s and 70s are good... Oh, and I'm quite partial to a bit of Katy Perry.

Books... I generally enjoy travel literature and 'classic' novels. My favourite book is (no surprise for a CSer) 'The Beach' which is basically what I wish I could have written. I've tried to write but everytime I do I realise I'm just trying to write this book again.

Movies... Apocalypse Now, Forrest Gump, Easy Rider... I'll stop there at my top 3...

TV Shows... Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Freaks and Geeks, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

So many amazing hikes in Hawaii, it's hard to settle on one. Leaping off various sized waterfalls on Maui's Commando hike is a very strong contender though.

And Lava! How could I forget...
