ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded, tolerant artist & thinker who also likes to party! I love art, music and beauty, especially when it surprises or shocks me. I am a people person and love to listen to the stories and adventures of those around me, I think everyone has an inner beauty. I love chatting on almost every subject (even taboos like politics and religion). Always looking for a different perspective.

I am also highly independent and love discovery and journeys. Natural curiosity. I am honest about my feelings while constantly trying to keep a positive mindset and disposition. I've always been a peacemaker and diplomat! I am fairly low-maintenance and I keep a low-profile, but can be hands-on if necessary. I am very sensitive to the feelings of those around me, and love accommodating everybody when possible.

Work-wise, I am a musician and an artist. My specialty is a little piano and singing-songwriting. I have a bunch of silly pop songs which I like to perform in public and some people have been crazy enough to actually pay me to do this! I've been lucky enough to travel extensively with my music. It's taken me all around Europe, the USA and the Caribbean often for long stretches of time.

I'm originally from Sydney, Australia but I've spent many years on the road, living out of a suitcase. Initially, the desire to perform and create inspired my travels, but now I love the journey just as much as the goal. As widely travelled in the west as I am, I'm ashamed that I've never been to Africa, Asia, the Middle East or South America. Hoping to rectify that this year.

I'm currently in Trondheim, Norway.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many informal couchsurfing experiences in my life (before joining CS)... I've met some fascinating people a couple of times have been lent a helping hand when in need.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Listening to Evensong in York minster, I'm not religious but that was elevating. Travelling through the country-side and fjords of Norway. Seeing countless amazing concerts and great bands in every country I visit... And then hetting to perform in nearly every country I visit! Discussing philosophy in the early hours of the morning at after-parties in Germany. Swimming and snorkelling in the perfect blue waters of the Caribbean. Getting tipsy at a party inside the halls of Westminster...

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I play the piano and sing for a living, and am always happy to share some of my musical abilities.

Learn: Would love to strengthen my German (intermediate), Spanish (beginner level) and any other languages that I come across.

Share: I can cook, let's share some recipes or cook a meal together!
