HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing occasionally on our travels through Asia at the moment. Keen to host once we get back home and own a couch :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been a member for ages, but only recently started surfing as we make our way through Asia - had great experiences so far :)

Interests

Meeting new people, learning new things, relaxing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to all sorts of music, classical through to the not so heavy punk. I tend to lean towards chillout as I travel though - Lemon Jelly and Lamb are currently my current travel companions.
Books - Love Hitchhikers Guide the Galaxy, Lord of the Rings, Magician, Peter Carey, Jasper Fford's 'Thursday Next' series, Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall and sequel, Margaret Atwood (some more then others - particularly loved Oryx and Crake)
Movies: South Park, Matrix, City of God, Being John Malkovic, Hero/House of Flying Daggers, Pulp Fiction, and 'girlier' films like Before Sunset/Sunrise, Lars and the Real Girl and Amelie :)
Also enjoying the occasional Bollywood flick as we travel through India

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Kilimanjaro - awesome hike and views
Hiked Annapurna circuit - ditto above :)
Spent a week in Salvador, Brazil for Carnaval - was crazy fun
