To be happy and have fun and in that, give others I meet help and inspiration to be the best they can be as well. To learn new things and never to stop being curious. To be happy, to have fun, and to grow, and to help others do the same.

ABOUT ME

Just a note: My surname is Joensuu, but that's NOT where I live. I live in Espoo, near to the border of Helsinki and Vantaa.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe only compassion, empathy, connection, grace, forgiveness and love can save humanity. My other favourite values are kidness, temperance, fortitude, open-mindedness, adventurousness, equality and responsibility.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm very interested in hosting people and if my economic situation allows, I'd love to surf as well. I also try and keep in touch with old couchsurfing buddies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After joining CS in late december 2009 I've hosted around forty people, maybe? But even before that I've always enjoyed having people over. :)

I've only spent a single night surfing as a guest so far though, which is unfortunate and something I'd love to correct one day.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Metal, blues, old and new rock, pop, classical, folk. I also sing a little!

Historical films, action flicks, art movies, adventure films, animations... You name it, I'll watch it. Horror's not a big favourite but I'll even watch that if you like.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I rode my motorcycle through a rain cloud, high up over the Norwegian fjords, on a trip around Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

-Motorcycles, especially riding and mechanics. If you're interested in motorcycling, ask me to take you for a ride during summer. I love doing that. Or if you're a bike traveler, I have some basic tools and know-how at my home - and I know all the best roads. :)
