I'm a 27 year old Belgian guy who enjoys the good things in life. I like my travels on the crazy side: mountains, winter trekking and camping (snow? yes please) and getting off the beaten track.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

All of my couchsurfing experiences have been absolutely great. Meeting open, like-minded people and getting submerged in foreign cultures are the best ways to see what a new place is really all about.

兴趣

My passions are skiing, rock climbing, triatlon, programming and tinkering with my computer in general.
Other stuff I enjoy includes my friends, (talking about) politics/philosophy (though my knowledge is very limited), hiking, gardening and enjoying nature.

I can honestly say I can enjoy pretty much any music. I like to party to drum and bass and the likes but again, almost anything will get me dancing :).

I would say the best movie I've seen in the last years is 'Les Intouchables', while the film that has had the biggest influence on me as a person would be 'Food Inc.'

Favourite books include 'Into the wild' and recently 'Game of Thrones'.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have travelled to Lebanon, where we did a 1 week guided hiking tour from place to place and staying with local people. We saw some amazing nature, did a few epic hikes, met the nicest people and ate the best food ever (still by far my favourite food). I would say this trip awakened my inner traveller.

I have a lot of knowledge about computers/networking/general it, which I'm always glad to share with those interested.
I'm a (Belgian) certified snowboard instructor, though I don't think I'll be able to teach snowboarding without going to the slopes with you :)

I'm always trying to improve my social skills. Travel does seem to bring out the hidden extrovert in me :).
