Hi my name is Joerian. I grew up in Tilburg with one brother. We have a lovely relationship as we grew up with anthropological background. Although I am directly using this philosophy in my live, I developed a really open mindset from it.

My interests are mainly in listening to music, philosophical conversations, developing my self. Furthermore, do I always love to meet new people. And I love cats and dogs but don't have them. I have an outgoing personality although I have my moments tot take time for myself. I am spontaneous and easy going in company and won't take much personal. We all have our own reality or perspective on it. Therefor I love it when we can openly talk about that. I think that is where two people meet.

Music
Although I like a broad range of music, this is what I particularly like.
Liquicity, deadmau5, deephouse, Lane 8, Phaelah, Veorra, CMA, Enya, Owl city and a lot of classical music! it is really a mix : )

Five years ago I have volunteered and traveled through southern Africa alone and together with a friend. I loved to without a destination, that made me feel alive. In Zambia I also bungee jumped from 111 meter high. Really loved that kick. And what I have faced in Africa was being alone. And although I have not completely overcome that, I grew a lot.

And right now my stomach has the giggles to be open en meet the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After a burn-out I am slowly getting back on track and I really would like to step into the world again and meet new people. I want to meet the unknown. My stomach got butterflies from meeting new people, adventure and being in the unknown.
