About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live every moment of my life to its fullest potential

ABOUT ME

I climb rocks a lot. I like "throwing some axes into some ice." I run hard. I like to work in the outdoors with youth and adults. I travel as a profession between professions to become well cultured, learn the things that can't be taught, and to share my experiences with the world. I seek to inspire others.

PHILOSOPHY

Simplicity. Do what makes you happy without hurting others and do it to enhance the exact moment in which you are living. When you open your eyes to all the differences people have in the world, you find yourself humbled. Have a passion and follow your passion!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am becoming part of a world-wide network to promote travel, experiential education, communication among like-minded individuals, and having fun. What else is there to be said?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most couches I have stayed on have been a result of falling asleep reading in my own house. I have, however, opened up my couches for MANY MANY people when I lived in a house.

Interests

Just look at what I am all about. I also like movies, eating, good desserts, art, comparing scars, and considering my future. I also like to write business plans.

Music, Movies, and Books

Garden State (I am a sap), Batman Begins, 300, Boondock Saints, The Departed, Anchorman. Underground hip-hop, alternative rock, acoustic rock, ambiance sound effects to fall asleep to. I read any book that teaches me a new skill or understanding of something to relate to my everyday life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungee jumped off a bridge in Costa Rica two weeks after hang gliding and 12 hours before taking a group of students surfing on the Pacific beaches.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to teach others how to live for the moment, set goals, and be selfless. I want to learn a new discipline. I want to share my knowledge and skills with those who are interested. That's it!
