About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To teach the hell out South Korea, then take off to the unknown.

ABOUT ME

All about me, seems like quite the task to put down here, but here is a quick all about me for my travel experience...I grew up traveling with my family, not through the military, but through a general love of seeing new places and meeting new people. I have been to most of Western Europe, parts of the middle east and south pacific. I am currently living in Seoul, S. Korea teaching my native tongue in an elementary school.
I am looking forward to seeing what else is out there in the world, and the new strange characters that are just around the corner. If you find your self in Seoul and are looking for a place to crash (sorry no couch, but a comfy floor and lounge chair), or are in the mood for coffee, drinks and/or a little bit of Seoul's soul, drop me a line.

PHILOSOPHY

What ever floats your boat without sinking anyone elses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member of Couch Surfing since 2005, but only recently updated my profile and began using it. I registered when I was in college in the middle of nowhere Oregon. Not many surfers made it down there. I am hoping to get more involved with this website, since I plan on using it a lot in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted Couch surfers at my old house through a friend. He is the one that told me about this site, and swears by it. We got to meet a lot of great people through it.

Interests

I am into a lot of different things. I enjoy a bit of the wacky and the mellow. I enjoy music, photography, movies, eating (I try my best at cooking, but can be lazy), enjoying a nice cool beer, festivals, Sports (soccer, basketball, ping pong, tennis, ultimate frisbee, regular frisbee).

Reading John Fante right now and am liking that. Just watched king of kong, and liked that. Am listening to Brian Jonestown massacre, and am liking that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a laser light show of the Pyramids in Egypt, that was pretty cool. I hiked the path of the gods on the Amalfi coast in Italy and got a view of the coast line with the sunset in the background. Climbed to the top of mt. st. Helens.
