About Me

"Create the world in which you most want to live"

I'm a cook by passion, a reader by need, and a traveler by conviction.
Since I was very young I used to watch these tv shows for travelers, and wondering what I'd be like to be a free soul, a wanderer of the world, to belong nowhere and everywhere at the same time. I decided to embrace my young amateur passion for cooking and to study that as my career, knowing that could open the world for me. You can cook anywhere!

I love the kind of conversations that happens with a cup of coffee inbetween hands. I'm passionate about flavors, so if you can show me something really cool and tasty from your city, that'll be aweeesome. I'm also beginning to learn about beers, especially craft beers.

I was working in a cruise for some time, so that gave me the chance to visit different places all over the world, but I was always using every chance to explore, to take pictures, to just enjoy the air and different enviroment of every city.

I'm always joking, and I think laughing is a universal connection.

I'm currently planning a trip to Europe in May with my best friend Daniel Herrera (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/daniel-herrera-5) and we could really use your help as an insider of the city. We really want to know the places as locals, not tourists, really embrace the unique way of living of every city. Know people and see their cities from their own perspective. What's the best way than this one?

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an eternal positivist, and I think the world would be a better place if we started to think of people as individuals, with their own hopes, beliefs and dreams, instead of just "people".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to know the place as an insider, know the hidden alleys, the best places to catch that sunrise, that ice cream place that nobody mentioned you before, and I think you can only learn that from an insider.
I really apreciate making friendships from people from other places of the world, it's always good to open your person to them, share a talk and your ideas. I want to know what other people think of life, I want to grow as a person, to hear ideas I haven't hear before, so I can be amazed.
I think it's really cool how you can cross paths in the life of another person, even if it's from very distant places.

Interests

I really enjoy cooking ( Maybe I haven't make enough emphasis on this? haha)
Reading is also something I really.
I like to play football, swimming, tennis is also something I used to practice.
Last year I got a camera, so I've been practicing a lot with it.
On my free time I download music, tons of it!

There's a lof of things I enjoy: Riding bycicles, taking photograps, tasting new things, long walks, a cup of coffee, sunsets, bad dancing, videogames, museums, parties, comic books, hiking, technology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the top of Mount Maunganui in New Zealand is something I'm very proud of, even if it was not really hard, the view from such place is awesome, and to admire something that looks so different from my country, my hometown, to feel that I was so far from home was something invaluable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn the history of different places, I can share the history of my country aswell.
Maybe you want to learn spanish? I can help with that! ( and not only the bad words haha)
Cooking is something anyone can learn, and I can show you that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really enjoy conversations, and that's something I can offer. I'm very open minded and I want to know what other people think of life.
I can totally cook for you, anytime! That'd be very cool. Maybe I can even find some ingredients to make something typical from Mexico.
