Music, Movies, and Books

A fervent lover for the band Onerepublic whose sings I think are inspiring, refreshing, revitalising and enlightening. As for movies, action movies starred by Jason Statham always reverberate with my heart so that I have watched almost all flicks starring him.
As an English major back in university, I mainly appreciate Enlish novels written by Maugham and Hemingway. The Moon and Sixpence, Of Human bondage, the Razor's Edge is the Big Three novels that I love most about Maugham for its quest about soul redeemption and the essence of life. In addition, Romantic writers such as Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne and Herman Melville have attracted my earnest attention lately. Would love to converse with sb who is also interested with these writters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one of the great thing about being a bilinguist is the opportunity it offers to make friends with people growing with a totally diverse cultural background. Half a month ago, I served as a live interpretor for one of my American clients during his sojourn in China. We exchanged our views and experience about our respective culture, and it amazed me so much when learning that something that seems quite normal in his country appeared weird in China. We covered lots of topics including education, tax system, religion and politics etc. . It is one of the greatest experience in my life!
