About Me
Heyyo y que honda?! I am a guy from the USA- just finished a master's program in Dublin, Ireland (Environmental Engineering) and have begun a backpacking trip to see this beautiful continent of Europe.
I love getting out to see the natural beauty of different places- hiking through forests/mountains, go swimming or cliff jumping, lounge in the sun, or just take in the views by exploring.
During my travels I like to shoot the shit with other travelers over funny stories from the road, playing games, or jamming some tunes. Usually the assistance of the local beer works well for this cause ✊🏽. I love myself a good pint of Guiness after having lived in Ireland.
I’m pretty active and love mountain biking, snowboarding, dancing out on the night, playing catch with anything, beach games, among many other activities. I even picked up the traditional Irish sport of Hurling recently (it’s like a combination of lacrosse, hockey, & murder).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve found that couchsurfing is an incredible way to bond and connect with like minded people! Travelers travel best when sharing experiences, knowledge, & tips of their recent journeys. My aim is to connect with local people along my journey. By doing this, I broaden my perspective through the viewpoints of others in different parts of the world as they see it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked through La Valla de Cocura in the coffee region of Colombia (near Salento)- home to the tallest palm trees in the world!
I did this with my friends from childhood visiting our friend who was teaching English in Colombia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Musical tastes- I know many artists and songs and can play many of them as well on the guitar
Cuisine- not so bad of a cook
Good laughs- I’m super personable and awlays find a way to share a laugh
Where I come from my family raised me to always pitch in more effort as a guest in other people's homes. I carry this out by being proactive with helping out around the house with chords, doing dishes, etc.
I'll also take the initiative to a cook dinner for offering a place to crash :)
