About Me

Just someone who wants to get to know Mother Earth, personally. I dream of diving deep into various cultures around the world, meeting all kinds of people of different backgrounds, sharing meals with the natives of the area, expanding my narrow perspective as a 19 year old into a rounder and more open minded one, and most importantly, I want to help everyone in anyway I can. Whether it's giving someone a smile, a friendly hello, or donating to a fundamental philanthropic company, and much much much more. I just wanna get out there

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Nepal for one month and went to India for two months right after high school. I decided I wanted to take a gap year while all my peers struggled and overworked themselves to get into these major Ivy League universities. I wanted to learn more about Buddhism and go trekking in Darjeeling. So I applied and got accepted into this amazing program called 'Where There Be Dragons'. They operate around the globe, giving high school grads the opportunity to travel to many third world countries minus all of the touristy activities and to really live as a local. So I decided to experience Nepal and India! I stayed with many families in a number of remote villages, getting to know each of them and the language they spoke. I trekked and climbed Mt. Annapurna in India. Stayed and meditated for ten days at a Buddhist Monastery while I was in Nepal, called Kopan. I saw many things as I traveled through the hectic cities of Nepal and India; especially Kolkata, one of the busiest cities in the world. My perspective of our incredible planet expanded beyond my expectation. I am a changed man, and will always hold all of the lessons and memories I gained throughout this journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to inspire and bring out other's compassion within them. To set an example of giving and loving one another, no matter what race, skin color, religion, background, sex, sexual orientation, and anything that sets other's apart. We are all here and aren't going anywhere for a while, we might as well make peace within ourselves and with the rest of the world. This is why I want to travel and learn more about international politics and different cultures; to get a wide understanding of how humanity functions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my life stories, really listen to them and hear what they have to say, and I'm willing to work around the area; help with chores. There's probably a lot more. I just haven't couched surfed enough!
