Hi, I'm Joey and I am a recent college grad looking to explore the world. I have worked for General Mills helping to make their Cheerios gluten free and also worked as an Environmental Specialist for the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. I played lacrosse in college but I have a passion for all sports and the outdoors. Now that my lacrosse career is over, I have gotten back into snowboarding which is one of the main reasons I use couchsurfing. I am pretty laid back person with a positive outlook on life and like to meet new people and hear their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet new people and to get the local experience wherever I travel to. Mostly, I will be on here for a snowboarding trip around the United States and possibly British Columbia this winter.

Interests

I am interested in sports, the environment, and science in general. I like comedies and have a bunch of favorite actors like Will Ferrell and Martin Lawrence. Also Dave Chapelle is my favorite comedian.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like hip hop and rap but am open to pretty much any kind of music. I like comedies and action movies although the occasional mystery can be fun as well. I love getting lost in adventure and fantasy books although I am looking to expand my tastes if you have any suggestions.
